Blanco

Orbit Margarita

The house standard. Cold, bright, and short — built to taste of agave first and lime second.

Build

  • 60 ml Planet Tequila Blanco
  • 25 ml fresh lime juice
  • 15 ml agave syrup (2:1)
  • Pinch of sea salt

Method

  1. 1Salt half the rim and chill the glass.

  3. 3Double strain into the chilled glass.

Glass — Coupe or rocks, half-salted rim

Garnish — Lime wheel, laid flat on the surface

Tall pink paloma over cubed ice with grapefruit garnish

Blanco

Golden Hour Paloma

A long, dusty-pink pour for the end of a hot day. Salt keeps the grapefruit honest.

  • 50 ml Planet Tequila Blanco
  • 15 ml fresh pink grapefruit juice
  • 10 ml fresh lime juice
  • Pink grapefruit soda, to top
  • Pinch of salt

Method

  1. 1Build tequila, juices, and salt over cubed ice.
  2. 2Top with grapefruit soda and stir once, gently.

Glass — Tall highball

Garnish — Wide grapefruit peel, expressed over the top

Old fashioned in a rocks glass over one large clear ice cube

Volcán Old Fashioned

  • 5 ml agave syrup
  • 2 dashes aromatic bitters
  • 1 dash orange bitters

Sour in a coupe with silky foam and three drops of bitters

Reposado

Reposado Sour

Silky and softly spiced. The rest in oak gives it a body that carries the citrus.

Build

  • 50 ml Planet Tequila Reposado
  • 25 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 15 ml agave syrup
  • 15 ml egg white (or aquafaba)

Method

  1. 1Dry shake without ice to build the foam.
  2. 2Shake again hard with ice, then double strain.
  3. 3Let it settle for thirty seconds before serving.

Glass — Coupe

Garnish — Three drops of bitters, drawn through

Deep red negroni over ice with an orange wheel and a wisp of smoke

Mezcal Espadín

Espadín Negroni

Smoke against bitterness. Slower than a gin Negroni and considerably more interesting.

  • 30 ml sweet vermouth
  • 30 ml bitter red aperitivo

Method

  1. 1Stir over cubed ice until the glass frosts.
  2. 2Strain over fresh ice.

Glass — Rocks

Garnish — Orange half-wheel

Neat amber tequila in a crystal tumbler over one clear ice cube

Neat, One Rock

The way we drink it at the distillery. One cube, one twist, and time.

Build

  • 45 ml Planet Tequila Añejo
  • One large clear ice cube

Method

  1. 1Pour over the cube and leave it for a minute before the first sip.

Glass — Small tumbler

Garnish — Orange twist, optional
